ProfessorNet visualizes co-authorship networks within an academic department over a chosen time range. Pick an institution, a department, and a time window; the system queries OpenAlex, identifies the department's principal investigators, and renders an interactive graph in which node size reflects publication output and edge thickness reflects collaboration strength.

Detailed instructional articles, glossary, and a methodology page will land in Phase 9. The headline rules: PIs are filtered using a top-20%-by-weighted-output OR has-first/corresponding-author rule; only intra-department co-authorship is rendered; topics are aggregated from each PI's first or corresponding-author works.
